Steamed pork buns and pan fried pork buns were all nice, quite enjoyed. but we ordered fried Shanghai noodles and small wonton soup, were very disappointed, cabbages were more than noodles and cabbage still tasted raw, the wonton soup have no favours at all. But the rest dishes were all good. By the way, the restaurant should clean the toilet more often!

10/10 wonderful food. Make sure you try their chilli oil and soy sauce with every dish it takes it to the NEXT LEVEL. Love this place. Super affordable. Fast service. What more do you want.

Ordered the Suzhou braised meat noodles, Sichuan noodles with peppery sauce and Shanghai fried noodles. Good size portions and the flavours are really unique and delicious. Reasonably priced noodles. Went back the following night and ordered dishes to share. Booking is essential at night time and I suggest to go early at 5.30pm. Less people and less wait time

A very authentic Chinese (Jiangnan cuisine) restaurant. Their food are quite yum, and reasonable priced like all Chinese food.
I particularly like the drunken chinken, it is tender and flavourful; the meat of the chicken is infused with very fragrant chinese wine.
Updates February 2022:
Ordered a few dishes for CNY, and was quite disappointed that things don't taste as good as it used to be. And a huge disappointment that the crispy duck wasn't the version of crispy duck that I used to have at other Shanghainese restaurants and it was super salty to a point that is not edible. Did called them up as ask if it is the taro stuff version and the lady said yes. One star taken off.

this restaurant has legit Shanghainese home dishes. I've been there twice to taste hometown flavor. The air dried pork belly in the yanduxian soup was excellent, I lingered around the aftertaste after going back home.
drinken fish fillet was very competitive to some restaurants in Shanghai. Standing out aroma of rice wine and tender fish fillets got a big attention. And drunken chicken was legit too. The braised pork belly I had last time was out of gate, this is actually a usual dish in most Chinese restaurant. However this place got the unique flavor of east China. Almost every Shanghainese signature dish I tried here can be scored 9-10 out of 10. Staff here were nice but usually crazy busy, so help yourself if you can.
